The Parish of St Andrew, Lamesley
Our 250th anniversary of the present St Andrew's building ended in 2009. At the patronal festival we remembered that 225 years ago Robert Raikes had started the Sunday School Movement because of the dreadful way society was and children were Godless and running wild! An inspiration for our children and youth work.
